Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Virra is an iOS app that analyses your short-form video content using artificial intelligence to help you improve performance before you post. The app is operated by Farasu Holdings ("we", "us"), which is the data controller for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect and why
2.1 Account information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real one; that is your choice. We store the identifier so that your analyses and preferences stay attached to your account.

2.2 Content preferences
During onboarding and in settings you can tell us your content category or niche, a written goal, your target region, how often you post and your biggest creator challenge. We use these only to personalise your analysis and hashtag suggestions. They are never used for advertising.

2.3 Videos you submit for analysis
When you submit a video, it is sent over an encrypted connection to our infrastructure and passed straight to Google's Gemini API for analysis. Once the analysis is complete the video file is deleted from Google's systems. We do not keep the video file on our own servers at any point.
We keep the results of the analysis (grades, notes, suggested hashtags) and a single still-frame thumbnail from your video, stored in our database and cloud storage (Supabase) and linked to your account.

2.4 Subscription information
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, trial eligibility and renewals. We never receive or store your payment card details; RevenueCat gives us entitlement data only.

2.5 Support correspondence
If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Where these services transfer data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
4. What we do not collect

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. How long we keep your data

6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR and equivalent laws you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data (preferences can be changed directly in the app)
- Delete your data, using Delete Account in the app or by contacting us
- Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances
- Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Complain to a supervisory authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
To exercise a right that is not available in the app, email support@virra.studio. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Our database uses row-level security so that each user can only access their own data. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.
8. Children
Virra is rated 4+ on the App Store but is intended for creators aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. The date at the top of this page is the date of the most recent revision.
